$550,000 home giveaway celebrates vibrant growth at Pegasus14/08/2015 - Events, Latest News, Pegasus Community
Pegasus Town is celebrating the vibrant growth of its community by giving away a house and land package worth more than half a million dollars.
The competition, which launches on Monday the 17th of August, consists of one major prize, a fully built three-bedroom house on a 551m2 section at Pegasus Town valued at $550,000.
“We are really proud of the community that is developing at Pegasus. It’s a fantastic place to live and this competition is about celebrating that,” says Pegasus Town spokesperson David Martin.
“We recognise that many people find it tough to afford their own home, so we’re giving New Zealanders the chance to win something truly special – something that will make a huge difference to their lives. Owning your own home is part of the Kiwi dream and we want to make that a reality for at least one lucky New Zealander.”
Pegasus Town is designed around a 14 hectare lake and is a 10 minute walk from Pegasus Bay Beach. There are plenty of recreational opportunities for families to enjoy, including playgrounds and parks and substantial wetlands connected by a network of walking and cycling tracks. The championship 18-hole golf course attracts keen golfers from around the country and overseas. The country’s only completely solar-powered school opened in Pegasus Town last year and 345 children are already enrolled.
There are living options to suit everyone at Pegasus Town; sections range in size from 350sqm to 2,500sqm; including town centre, lakefront or golf course outlooks. However with less than 195 sections remaining for sale in the whole town, this opportunity to win a home is not one to be missed.
To enter the draw, people need to visit 12 Tiritiri Moana Drive at Pegasus Town between advertised open hours and pick up a competition ticket containing a unique entry code, and visit www.winahome.co.nz to enter that code.
The competition is open to all New Zealand residents aged over 16, and will run for six months.
The winner will be drawn in February, 2016.
