Runners and walkers choose from 5.5km and 10km courses –with a 2.5km course appealing to novice fun runners as well as families who run together. Participants can follow Hellers Pegasus Fun Run on Facebook for event updates, inspiring news and training tips.
Since 2011, the fun run has held sentimental value for Cantabrians of all ages, since the inaugural event took place only months after the February quake.
Hellers is proud to be able to ensure this popular event continues for the fourth year.
“We have watched Cantabrians of all ages respond to the opportunity to set a realistic springtime goal,” says Hellers Brydon Heller. “It’s great to finish winter with this motivation – and head into summer with the spirit of ‘having a go.’”
The fourth annual Hellers Pegasus Fun Run will provide a perfect excuse for families, sports teams and workplaces to gather for a post-run picnic or BBQ.
Corporates and groups are encouraged to bring marquees or chilly bins, and enjoy the event atmosphere.
Again in 2014, the event promises a plenty of action for all ages with live music and entertainment, including plenty for the kids. A bouncy castle, face painting and Cheapskates Skate Skool will be on hand, as well as a range of food and drink vendors.
