A lake designed for fun
At the heart of Pegasus Town a beautiful 14 hectare feature lake provides a picturesque setting for fun, activities, picnics, watersports, and relaxing at the weekends.
There are over four kilometres of shoreline and 11 sandy and pebble beaches to enjoy. It has plenty of walkways and even a unique suspension bridge leading to an island with its own waterfall. Kayaks, yachts and mountain bikes are available from the Pegasus Hire Centre during the summer months, and it’s perfect for both families and seasoned watersports lovers alike. The lake also hosts a range of sporting events such as dragonboat competitions and triathlons.
All homes and sections are within easy walking distance of the lake. There are also a number of lakeside sections available. Click here for the Pegasus interactive property tool.
Naturally beautiful wetlands
Pegasus Town’s environmentally-sensitive design includes 100 hectares of wetlands that form the natural habitat for all kinds of protected ecology, including a wide variety of native plants, birdlife and animals. It’s an extraordinarily beautiful area criss-crossed by a myriad of walkways, tracks, cycleways and opportunities for exploration, adventure and discovery.
